of workshops for making Dolls, Bears and Animals. |

For Teddy
Bears and Animals:
- It's all in the face:
Learn a variety of techniques to give your creatures more personality
in their faces. Some of the topics covered are needle modeling,
tinting, airbrushing, and several other methods of adding details.
(Offered in a 1 or 2 day format, for beginning to advanced levels)
- Creating an Original Pattern
from Ground Zero:
Learn to make a pattern from your own ideas. Students will build
a model and learn to drape a pattern from their original sculpture.
Armature and jointing methods, as well as the use of unsual materials
will be covered. (Offered in a 5 day format for groups of 6 or
as a 5 day apprenticeship in my studio. Advanced level class,
Apprenticeships by portfolio submission only) Tution is $500(US)
per student. For group classes instructor's travel expenses must
be covered by sponsering group.

For Dolls
and Animals:
- Needle Modeling for Personality
and Expression:
Learn the technique of needle modeling to add detail and expression
to your figures face and body. (Offered in a 1 or 2 day format,
for any level)

For Dolls:
- Soft Sculpting Forms and
Figure:
Students will learn of a variety of wire armature styles and
soft sculpting methods. Each student will choose the method that
fits their needs and begin a sculpture. (Offered in beginning
through advanced levels, in a 2, 3, or 5 day format. Level of
completion is effected by the length of class.)
- Airbrushing the Figure:
The focus will be on airbrushing on fabric mediums. We will experiment
with adding interest in faces, bodies and clothing. Students
will need their own airbrushes for this class. (offered as a
one day demonstration, or a 2 or 3 day workshop)
